BRIAN McCANN
After graduating in Economics at Liverpool University Brian spent 18 years with KPMG working with some of the country's major businesses as well as with some very dynamic private companies. He left KPMG to open the Liverpool Office of a regional accounting firm in 1998 and then led its growth as it became one of Merseyside’s leading advisory firms.
Brian set up Vanguard Corporate Finance in February 2007 to enable him to concentrate on working directly with clients. He has completed a wide range of transactions over the years with many of his clients retaining him as an adviser, after their initial transaction is completed.
Away from the office Brian is a board member of Liverpool Chamber of Commerce and Chairman of Chester Swimming Association which operate two Victorian swimming pools. Whilst he should know better by now, he still regularly jumps in with one of the swim training groups and pretends to keep up. |
JEAN HUGHES
Jean has achieved the impossible for 10 years now by managing Brian and ensuring that he gets to the right place at the right time – usually. Jean is also the central point of contact for all of our clients.
It Jean’s job to make sure that “the wheels don’t fall off” whilst Brian concentrates on working with clients. As Brian’s PA, if she can be of any help she can be contacted on the office number between 8.00am and 3.30pm, or you can leave a message on our answerphone which she will pick up at 8.00am on the next working day.
If you are unable to get in touch with Brian Jean does have him tagged so can usually track him down for you!!!
Remarkably for someone so young she has managed to squeeze in over 30 years' experience of working in the business services sector and puts her full range of contacts to work for clients looking for help in areas Vanguard don’t work in. |
